My kids and I laughed and laughed as Adam Sharp and Magna Carter (great name!) tried to get Big Ben back from the Texans who had invaded London. This is a great series for kids who like spies. My sons hope to see Adam Sharp on televisio one of these days. A wonderful series.

Long live Adam Sharp!
This is one of the cleverest series being published for children. It is so funny, and Adam is so cool. My kids love these books - and the new format from Random House is really attractive. The artwork is wonderful, too. How cool is it to go swimming in a tuxedo, looking for sharks. Long live Adam Sharp!

Adam's Diary (Modern Scandinavian Literature in Translation)
Published in Paperback by Univ of Nebraska Pr (February, 1988)
Authors: Knut Faldbakken and Sverre Lyngstad
Average review score:

Brilliant Stream Of Consciousness Character Study
Adam's Diary is a brilliant work of art & a very entertaining book. In it, the "modern Adam" is a composite of thief, dog & prisoner. It's interesting that the composites are not merely psycological aspects of 3 different men, but they're actually what the men involved have become in reality. The book is broken up into 3 "diaries" for each man, & they all revolve around their relationship to one woman. Each portion is an interesting blend of "stream of consciousness" and psycological drama. The book becomes more & more compelling as you read on. Faldbakken is a guy hardly anybody in America has heard about, let alone read, & that's a real shame. He's a first-class writer & worthy blood-brother to Dostoyevsky. Get this!

Adam's Odyssey Thru The Spiritual Mind
This book is most definately for serious minded Christian or for Christians who want a deeper spiritual knowledge thru the King's James version. The author leads you through "Adam's Odyssey" with scripture references to back his input of this book. My suggestion is, if you are going to read this book, is to read it with an open mind to God and his Word. I assure you that you will mature spititually if you study this book and BE SURE to have your King James Version as your Bible. In my opinion, this writer has written "Adam's Odyssey" with a sincere heart and with also a deep spiritual heart, mind, and soul. I read the entire book and plan now to go into a deeper study of the book through the Kings James Bible. God Bless You as you strive to attain a deeper spiritual closeness to God and his Beloved Son.

Adam's tale

A Cautionary Tale about Policing London in the 70's
This is an extremely well written account of a young detective's experience trying to apprehend drug dealers. Unfortunately everything goes wrong and the detective ends up in court himself accused of perjury. It is a true story and a very, very accurate account of what policing London was like in the 1970's, in particular focussing on the Drug Squad at Scotland Yard. I am a London Police Officer and was working in London's West End during the time of this book. I remember the incident and the trial. I met Adam - the subject of the book. Reading the book brought back vividly graphic memories of that era. The book will give the reader a feeling of the excitement, pressures, problems and heartaches of real police work. I recommend it to anyone.

Adam-God
Published in Library Binding by Publishment (01 March, 1994)
Author: Craig L. Tholson
Average review score:

Adam-God
A highly recommended read....for those trying to sort through the confusion of modern Mormonism.
The authors views on the doctrine of Mormon deity was a refreshing alternative to the monotony of mainstream Mormonism and mainstream Christianity. I was thoroughly impressed with the apparent attention to historical accuracy.
Mr. Tholson's passion for the truth in everyday living for the common Mormon has compelled me to explore further into his works, writings, and inner thoughts. Intimate thoughts and arguments into the historical context of which Adam-God relates to the teachings of Joseph Smith and the revelations which define Mormonism have awakened my blind eyes.
I recommend this book to all Mormons and Christians alike searching for a deeper truth...
